I won’t go too far with this, but I just want say that if you are an indie filmmaker, an indie film fan, a lover of artistic expression, or just a self-proclaimed human being, it would do you well to get to know the work of Lynn Shelton. Bump Kowalski and the Ten Commandments, our film, definitely was influenced by her work.
She was a lover of art. A lover of persistence. A never quit, wall-busting, truth-teller. And when you look at her work, you’ll find characters that open you up while they open themselves up. What a loss.
